A lawsuit filed by journalist Alex Berenson against Joe Biden (Berenson v. Biden) was amended this week to include new allegations of government-social media censorship collusion.
A former New York Times reporter, Berenson reportedly updated the suit to reflect the latest claims that social media censorship was “ultimately traceable” to the current White House. In short, Berenson is accusing Biden of exerting pressure on platforms like Twitter (now X) to silence certain voices that were critical of what was happening during the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “pandemic.”
The idea of a “traceable (inquiry)” was solidified by the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Missouri v. Biden, allowing Berenson’s case to proceed. Based on this, Berenson is now claiming that there is proof that coercive censorship was taking place, which he says makes his case “much stronger.”
“The amended complaint includes internal Twitter emails where the company’s own top executives state that the platform made a mistake banning Berenson’s account, while another appears to show lobbyist middlemen put Pfizer Director (and former FDA chief) Scott Gottlieb’s outreach in touch with the Biden administration,” reported Reclaim the Net.
“Yet another email reveals that Andy Slavitt, who had just resigned from the White House, communicated with Facebook to tell an exec there precisely how the White House – referred to as ‘WH’ in the document – wants Facebook to treat content the government disapproves of.”
(Related: Back in 2022, Berenson claimed that Pfizer board members and a former FDA commissioner colluded with Twitter to ban him.)
Berenson dove headlong into this case, going into great detail about the mutual relationships that all of the various players had with one another. The White House was working directly with the heads of social media companies to target conservative voices like Berenson’s, he claims.
Slavitt in particular is singled out by Berenson as playing “the central role (…) in the conspiracy” to censor him personally. Berenson feels as though he was specifically targeted for having a strong voice that the powers that be (TPTB) wanted to silence for their own political agendas.
Even though the defense team has filed a motion to dismiss Berenson’s lawsuit, the reporter feels as though his mountain of claims and evidence is more than enough to allow the case to proceed as he wishes.
“But if it does not, if federal Judge Jessica G.L. Clarke dismisses it before even allowing discovery and appeals courts back that decision, free speech on the internet will be close to dead,” Berenson says.
America Legal First (AFL) is also probing the White House for evidence of collusion with government officials in Brazil to silence Brazilian social media as well.
AFL wants the goods on the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the U.S. Department of Commerce, all of which are said to be playing a role in the censorship of Brazilian social media.
That probe came about after the Biden regime introduced the National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism in June 2021. While Americans and the world were busy being tyrannized by their elected officials both locally and at the federal level, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and many others were developing a strategy to silence people for spreading “disinformation” online.
At that time, all eyes were on the fraudulent 2020 election, which was handed to Joe and Kamala despite lots of evidence suggesting voter fraud against Donald Trump. The Biden regime outlined plans to collude with foreign governments, tech companies, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to muzzle anyone who says the wrong thing online by dubbing them as “terrorists.”
